STIMULUS and GOALS
The stimulus is moderate pacing throughout sets. Athletes will pair up and complete an entire round, followed by their partner doing the same. Both partners will complete 5 sets each. The objective is to find a pace in the first set that can be maintained across all following sets. It will be very easy for athletes to get caught up in pushing too hard on the bike, resulting in heavy leg fatigue accumulating in later rounds. Leg fatigue on the bike will also add difficulty in utilizing leg drive on the barbell.
Make sure to set the bikes up on “Target Calories” or reset everytime.
