Execution

The Paused Power Snatch is performed identically to the power snatch, with the exception that there is a pause right in front of the knees. Begin the lift as you would a power snatch, and when the bar reaches knee height, hold that position so that the bar is motionless. After the pause, complete the power snatch as usual.
